New Zealand police clearance certificates are provided by the Ministry of Justice. Applications can be made online, free of charge. A certificate is normally provided by email within 3 working days - this certificate can then be submitted to the Department of Internal Affairs for an Apostille Stamp or legalization. There is no expiry date on the results you receive, but many authorities will require a certificate that is no older than 3 months.
